5) Policy

This is essentially our contract.

Payment:

Payment in full is due for the calendar month, in advance, at the first lesson of the month and past due thereafter. If you have a question about the amount due, contact me.

I charge by the lesson, not the month. Some months may have more or less than 4 lessons.

Cancellations:

If you must cancel a scheduled lesson for any reason, the following charges will apply with no exceptions:

• 48 hours in advance—No Charge
• 24-48 hrs in advance—1/2 charge
• Less than 24 hrs in advance—full charge

Cancellation must be through one of the contact methods below. Messages left anywhere else do not count.

One more thought on cancellations; if you cancel for reasons other than sickness or family emergency, you are modeling for your child that music lessons are not important. They quickly learn this lesson and the project goes downhill from there so for their sake, limit your cancellations.
